It really was fun to meet with all of you for conferences. You have great children and I am so fortunate to teach each and every one of them!
Keep listening to your children read as much as possible. This week and next in math we will be working on ordinal numbers from first through tenth and on comparing things for size (such as longer/shorter). We are working on the letter and sound for "e" in phonics. Our vocabulary words for this week are village, celebrate, appreciate, option, and splendid. (I'll get back to you about next week's vocabulary words.) We will be studying several folk tales and fairy tales in the next few weeks.
