O.k....it might not take until next week for your children to wear out. Many already seem to be wearing out and we still have two days to go. Make sure they get lots of sleep and they will get back into the swing of things soon.
We have three more vocabulary words we are working on. They are "displeased," "request," and "fetch." Please use these words with your children if you can.
Another thing you can help the children practice is which letters are vowels and which are consonants. You can point to a letter and ask your child what the name of the letter is, what the sound is, and if it is a vowel or a consonant. Another thing you can do is point to a word and ask your child which letter is a vowel.
Finally, have your child read, read, read!
